With rain in the forecast for later tonight and throughout tomorrow morning, I wanted to try to re-locate the Lincoln's Sparrow I saw yesterday in the Albemarle County Western Park (completely within Old Trail). Depending on how much rain we get, the narrow trail through the wetlands might be too muddy to hike until the ground freezes later this year. I hiked there in the early afternoon, and soon found a Lincoln's, along with five other sparrow species.
