I was invitied to give my "Birds of Wintergreen" presentation to the Southside Bird Club in Danville, Virginia. Walt Childs accompanied me on the trip, and we met up with a few of the club members and birded along the Dan River for a couple of hours before heading over to the meeting location. We logged at least 18 avian species in the Danville area - mostly along the river, as well as a few more species at the meeting location.
