Alice and I spent a couple of days at Kingsmill Resort on the James River in Williamsburg, VA. Although it was a golfing trip, I did see a few species of birds, and took a few photos. On the golf course, a very noisy Great Blue Heron flew low over us, and I saw Crows, Turkey Vultures, Eastern Bluebirds, a few unidentified sparrows, and one unidentified warbler - probably a female Common Yellowthroat. I did take a few photos late in the afternoon. There were some water birds sitting on a distant pier, and with the sun in my eyes and my old camera, it wasn't easy to identify them, but I think that most of them are correct. I was able to get closer to some birds that were hanging around the tennis courts.
