Rockfish Valley Trail 8/4/12

Walt Childs led the monthly bird walk on the trail this morning. We had a fairly good turn-out of about a dozen birders who braved the heat and humidity.

There was good activity on the trail, and the group ended up with 42 species. Highlights included a Blue Grosbeak that posed for the group, and a Cooper's Hawk that was being mobbed by some swallows.
