Female Eastern Towhee
The sun came out for a while this morning, so I headed up to the Blue Ridge Parkway mid-morning to see if there were any warblers out and about.
The parkway had light to heavy fog with the occasional ray of sunlight. It was difficult finding birds in the dense, wet, tree canopies with the lack of sunlight, but in addition to some of the common woodland birds, I saw or heard the following warblers: Cerulean, Hooded, Kentucky (FOS), and American Redstarts.
