I hadn't planned on going to the trail today. It rained all morning, but the report of a Gray-cheeked Thrush on the trail after I left yesterday made me curious enough to go to the trail this afternoon to see if it were still there.
It was cloudy, windy, and cold when I arrived at 3:00 p.m., and although I did not see the Gray-cheeked Thrush, I logged 20 species in a little more than one hour before I left - oh yes, the sun came out, and the wind died down as I was leaving!
