Wow! What a morning on the trail. I was there from 9 to 11 a.m., and logged 34 species. There were two highlights for me. The first was my best ever photos of a Yellow-billed Cuckoo that sat on a branch about 20 feet away from me for a couple of minutes. The second was aerial combat between a pair of American Crows and one of the most stunning and colorful Red-tailed Hawks that I have ever seen. I got so many great photos that it was difficult to decide which ones to post. I also saw a warbler that looks to me like a first fall male Common Yellowthroat. Other opinions are welcomed.
