Rockfish Valley Trail; Wintergreen Mountain; 4/26/11

I went up on Wintergreen Mountain to try once again to locate the leucistic chickadee so that I could get a better photo of it, but the feeder that it had been coming to has been taken down, so I probably won't actively look for it again until next fall.

I headed down for a quick, late morning hike on the Rockfish Valley Trail to look for warblers. I saw a number of other species, but the only warblers I saw were a pair of male Common Yellowthroats at the south end of the Glenthorne Loop trail along the stream that parallels the road.
